PATIENTS at Rugby’s Hospital of St Cross will benefit from a new piece of equipment.

The multi functional vital signs monitor has been donated by the Friends of St Cross Hospital.

It will be used to measure blood pressure and temperature, giving nurses greater mobility and speed while going from patient to patient on Willow ward.

Chrysanda Gilbert, chairman of the Friends, said: “We are delighted to be able to help the St Cross nursing staff by making their difficult jobs a little bit easier by purchasing this essential new piece of equipment. Many thanks as always go to the generosity of our volunteers, fundraisers and supporters.”
