Man charged with thefts in Leamington
A LONG Itchington man has been charged with stealing almost £1,000 in cash during an incident in Leamington which occurred earlier this month.
Shane Peter Redgrave, of Sitwell Avenue, has also been charged with an attempted robbery which occurred in Leamington in July and burglaries in Clapham Square and Portway Close, Leamington, earlier this month. In all the offences it is alleged that the 29-year-old stole cash or jewellery.
Following his arrest on Friday, he was interviewed by officers and remanded into custody to appear before Leamington Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday), when he was charged with the offences. He will remain in custody until his next appearance in court on a date to be arranged.
