Man knocked unconscious after attack at Leamington festival

The 49-year-old man suffered from cuts and bruising to his head and face and had to stay in hospital overnight following the attack in the Pump Room Gardens at around 8.30pm.

A 29-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been released on bail.

Police invesitagting the incident would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone who saw anything suspicious or out of the ordinary around that time.
