Man punched woman in attempted robbery in Leamington
Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in Brunswick Street, Leamington, on Monday at about 11pm.
A woman in her mid-20s was approached by a man who punched her in the head before demanding she hand over her mobile phone.
The attacker, who was chased off by a passer-by, has been described as mixed race or olive skinned, with short brown hair, of average to larger build, around 5ft 7ins tall and in his 20s or 30s and was wearing a dark brown suede jacket, a light top and black trousers.
