Man rescued after leg trapped in machine near Leamington
A man got his leg trapped in an industrial machine while at work in a factory near Leamington yesterday (Wednesday).
The 52-year old was taken to hospital after the incident, which occured at around 4.50pm at the Heathcote Industrial Estate in Warwick Gates.
A air ambulance arrived at the scene at 5.10pm and freed the man and gave him what paramedics described as “much-needed” pain relief, before he was taken to the University Hospital in Coventry.
