Man suffers cardiac arrest at petrol station

A MAN was in a critical condition yesterday (Wednesday) after suffering a cardiac arrest at a petrol station in Cubbington.

Ambulance staff and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance were called to the garage in Rugby Road at around 11.45am and arrived to find bystanders giving the man cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.

The crews and medic took over and managed to restart his heart, but the man’s condition remained unstable and he was taken to Warwick Hospital.
