Man taken to hospital after collapsing at a Rugby industrial estate

A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital after collapsing at work at an industrial estate in Rugby.

West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were first on the scene but requested the attendance of Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA) to provide medical support.

The WNAA crew received the call at approximately 12:25pm yesterday (Wednesday) and landed in a nearby local park 17 minutes later.

The patient was thoroughly assessed by the WNAA doctor before being handed over to the WMAS crew for transportation to hospital.

The patient was taken to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire, under the supervision of the WNAA doctor. The patient’s current condition is unknown.
