Man trapped in car after hitting tree in Rugby

A man was trapped inside his car after hitting a tree in Rugby.

The incident happened at 11.05pm last night (Wednesday October 7).

The man, believed to be in his thirties, suffered arm and leg injuries after hitting a tree.

A Magpas Helimedix doctor and paramedic were called to the scene and sedated the man before working alongside Fire and Rescue Service to safely remove him from the car.

The man was taken to University Hospital Coventry and his condition was said to be stable on arrival.
