Masked burglars stole cigarettes from the post office in Napton last night (Monday) after forcing their way in.

The incident happened at about 9.20pm when the group of three or four intruders broke in by using a crow bar and kicking the front door.

They were disturbed by two members of the public and fled in a silver-colour Mercedes towards Brickyard Road.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Napton, saw the Mercedes as it left the area, or has any other information which might help them with their enquiries.
