Mayor and MP will launch Rugby’s popular charity Christmas card shop at St Andrew’s Church today (Saturday)

Rugby Mayor Richard Dodd and MP Mark Pawsey will be grabbing a bargain and helping worthwhile charities this Saturday.

They will launch the Rugby Combined Charities Christmas Card Shop at St Andrew’s Church at 10.30am. The shop is being opened by kind permission of the Rev Imogen Nay and will help 16 charities.

As well as cards on sale there will be wrapping paper, calendars, stocking fillers, diaries and other festive items.

Rugby Combined Charities Christmas Card Shop runs every year and is only made possible thanks to the help of many volunteers.

It’s open six days a week from 9.45am - 3.30pm, Monday to Friday and 10.30am - 3.30pm on Tuesdays and 9.45am - 1pm on Sautrdays.

The shop will close on December 16 at 3.30pm.
