Meeting for action group against HS2

The event will take place at the village hall in Broadway from 7.30pm.

Advice and information will be available on how to respond to the HS2 Environmental Impact Consultation by Thursday July 11.

There will be displays and maps on the predicted impact including noise in the area, and the disruption and devastation to ancient woodland, the Leam Valley and people living in Cubbington and beyond.

The group is urging everyone interested in the preservation of the countryside and natural heritage to attend this meeting and complete consultation responses to ensure that protests are noted.

None of the mitigation measures suggested by the group have been implemented at present and members consider the latest HS2 proposals to be totally unsatisfactory.
