Midnight woodburner blaze in Leamington

A WOODBURNER was the cause of a fire at a building in Leamington in the early hours of this morning.

At 12.17am on Monday March 5 two crews of firefighters from Leamington were called to a building in Grove Street were a fire had started in a rear extension woodburner.

The firefighters used a hose reel, breathing apparatus and a thermal image camera to overcome the blaze.

They spent some time damping down the site to prevent the risk of the fire reigniting.
