A long career in the police force and a meeting with Prince Charles were among the stories shared at the Rugby High School Old Girls’ Reunion earlier this month.
More than 80 ladies attended the event, 15 of who had started at the school in 1955 and who marked their 60th anniversary with a special cake.
Guest speaker Misty Culpin MBE (pictured on the left with head teacher Charlotte Marten) gave a talk about her career in the police force. She served in Northern Ireland and Greenham Common as well as on Royal protection and duties at the Farnborough Air Show.
When Misty was due her 22 year long service medal she was delighted not only to have her medal presented by Eddie Stobart but also to have one of his lorries named in her honour.
