More world-famous stars head to Vault

A HEAVY metal band fronted by one of the most famous wrestling champions of all time drops by Rugby on Wednesday April 17.

Fozzy – fronted by international star Chris Jericho – will be supported by Drowning Pool and Revoker in a show at Vault, the tickets for which went on release last week. Between them, Jericho, an established prime-time television personality in the US, and Fozzy’s guitarist, Rich Ward, have sold over 1.5 million records worldwide. Now that Jericho is taking more time away from his 12-year WWE wrestling career, he can now give Fozzy his undivided attention. Ward, Jericho’s long-time partner for the Fozzy project, has toured with some of metal’s biggest bands and been hailed as favourite guitarist of Pantera legend Dimebag Darrell and Ozzy axeman Zakk Wylde. Meanwhile Texas’s Drowning Pool are still an established force in the world of alternative music since their 2001 hit-single Bodies. Last year they announced they have a new frontman – Texan Jasen Moreno - and a new album to be released in the coming weeks. For tickets (£17), see
