Rugby MP Mark Pawsey will be holding a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support next Friday, September 30.
The annual fundraiser sees shops, charities and communities across the country host events.
Mr Pawsey’s coffee morning will be held in his constituency office in the town centre alongside members of Rugby Conservative Association between 10am and 11.30am.
He said: “Each year I am proud to support Macmillan’s Coffee Morning, by visiting local coffee mornings or by hosting one at my office. This year, I will be joining local volunteers at my office in the town to hosting an event.
“The fight against cancer is one which I know many people, including myself, are passionate about.
“The work done by charities such as Macmillan makes a tremendous difference to those who have cancer.
“I am always delighted to see how many places support Macmillan at this time each year and I would encourage local residents to take the time to visit one near them.”
