MP uses website to voice HS2 opposition
WARWICK and Leamington MP Chris White has published his response to the HS2 consultation and is encouraging others to give their views on the issue.
A new section on Mr White’s website highlights his continued opposition to the high-speed rail project, which would lead to lines being built through the Warwickshire countryside.
In the document Mr White expresses his continued opposition to the plans and suggests the Government should look at other ways to upgrade Britain’s transport infrastructure. The HS2 consultation began in February and will run until Friday July 29.
