Plans are well under way for Crick’s annual Scarecrow and Music Weekend, which takes place on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12.
As well as the usual amazing array of scarecrows provided by local residents, there will be many events happening over the two-day festival.
On the Saturday at 3pm, the Crick Fun Dog Show will see pooches compete for titles in categories such as waggiest tail, shaggiest coat, most impressive eyebrows and longest tongue.
The Sunday sees Crick’s Kidz Have Talent contest which starts in the village hall at 2.30pm. Entry forms are still available.
Refreshments will be available in the village for the whole weekend and there will also be a barbecue.
The music festival features more than 14 bands and artists who will be entertaining visitors over the weekend, with Ronin headlining on Saturday.
