Musical babies release single

LITTLE singers across Warwick district are helping people with mental health issues, brain injuries, stroke recoverers and other vulnerable groups gain some musical therapy by recording their own single.

Toddlers at Monkey Music classes in Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth have been performing The Day Is Here - a patriotic tune that tells the story of race - which is now available to buy. Proceeds will go to Nordoff Robbins, a charity that funds 50,000 music therapy sessions a year in schools, hospitals, care homes and prisons across the UK.

Claire Haydock, who runs Monkey Music’s pre-school music classes in Warwickshire, said: “Their reaction has been so enthusiastic that we’re hoping to raise a good sum for charity.”
