Watching crowds cheered as TV star Myleene Klass officially opened the new Mothercare store in Rugby this morning (Friday).
Myleene - who first found fame singing in pop band Hear’Say - was all smiles as she admired the Elliot’s Field shop and posed for a few photos.
She cut the ribbon at 10am alongside Mothercare CEO Mark Newton-Jones and declared the store officially open, before going outside to speak to the growing queue of customers (pictured).
And this afternoon Myleene will hold a meet and greet from 1pm to 3pm, giving shoppers the chance to grab a photo and say hello to the star.
When asked if this was her first time in Rugby, Myleene said: “I have been here many times and it’s always an absolute pleasure. Everyone is so friendly and to have so many mums, dads and nanas bring their little ones to meet me is so lovely.
She added: “I feel very proud to be here as an ambassador for Mothercare and to launch my new BabyK range in store. I have been working with Mothercare for 10 years now and they have become like family!”
