Myton Hospice fete raises £17.000

Alpacas and ponies were among the more unusual exhibits at this year’s Myton Hospice summer fete on Sunday, which raised almost £17,000 for the Warwick-based charity.

Visitors played games, browsed stalls and tucked into food. An auction run by Rob Ripley from John Taylor Funeral Directors raised £3,440. Some 129 volunteers helped run the event. Myton’s events manager Sarah Dolby said: “A huge thank you to everyone who came, our amazing volunteers, sponsors and everyone who donated items.”
