Nativity plays bring in the cash for Hospice

GENEROUS parents at St Margaret’s Primary School in Wolston have helped drum up £441 for Rugby Myton Hospice.

The school collected the cash at the three nativity plays it staged during the run-up to Christmas. The charity was chosen by the school’s pupils, who have raised money for the cause at several other events.

Julia McLeod, head teacher, thanked the parents for their generosity and the school’s staff and children for their hard work.

“I’m delighted the school managed to raise so much for such a worthy cause. The parents gave very generously at the nativity plays and it’s thanks to them we were able to give the hospice so much money.”
