A new shop selling gifts and home accessories has opened in Rugby’s Swan Centre.

Nyo opened in Chapel Street in Unit 3 of the Swan Centre selling a variety of personal and home accessories, from the eclectic and quirky European Pylones range, colourfully designed to brighten your day and transform everyday objects into gifts.

Nyo, employing one full time and one part time person, occupies 696 square feet of space, and first opened on Saturday December 7.

Maddie Sharma, owner of Nyo, said: “Since opening we have been very busy and feedback from customers has been excellent. The products from the Pylones range are new, fresh and exciting and are ideally placed to meet the demands of today’s consumers.

“Rugby provides the perfect platform to showcase these. If you are looking for some unique gifts for friends or family this Christmas please visit us – you won’t be disappointed.

“We are delighted to be opening our first shop in Rugby and hope the town embrace our concept. Our current home is only temporary and in February 2014 we plan to move just a short distance to Unit 8a in the Swan Centre - our permanent home going forward.”

Aftab Gaffar, Managing Director of Rugby First said: “Rugby town centre continues to attract new businesses, many of them independents, and I would like to welcome Nyo and wish them lots of success going forward. I would also like to thank all those customers who continue to support their local town centre and wish them a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
