Creative children at Henry Hinde Infant School in Rugby are cooking up delightful treats in their new mud kitchen.
Stagecoach Midlands donated £500 so the school could buy equipment for their outdoor learning and play activities, which is part of the Forest School Programme.
To mark the company’s green week, which encourages their staff, passengers and the wider community to make more environmentally conscious decisions about the way they live, they made donations to selected green initiative projects.
Andrea Wolstenholme, Forest School leader, said: “Children love playing with mud and using their imaginations to make potions and cook ‘dinners’. It is a fantastic addition to our existing outside resources and gives the children another focus for independent learning.”
