Film fans are getting an even better view of top movies at Rugby Theatre after the installation of a new digital projector.

The Henry Street theatre, which shows films regularly between live stage performances, used the £20,000 projector for the first time last month for The Railway Man, starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Firth.

The hi-tech new computer-operated projector will be fired up again this weekend for Friday and Saturday’s showing of the Ralph Fiennes film The Invisible Woman, which follows the story of Nelly a happily married mother and school teacher who takes us back in time to follow the story of her fragile relationship with Charles Dickens.

It will be shown at the theatre on Friday at 7.30, and on Saturday, at 5pm and 8pm.
