News team’s efforts rewarded
MEMBERS of a hard-working voluntary news team in south Warwickshire have been rewarded for their efforts in a national competition.
The monthly Harbury and Ladbroke News was selected as winner of this year’s National Parish Magazine Awards’ ‘best content’ category - and it came second overall, one place behind the Markyate Monthly of Herefordshire.
Chairman John Holden said: “This is a marvellous achievement for the magazine, which is entirely due to the many villagers who regularly contribute articles.
