Nicola plays a leading role in Anniversary Games

Warwick’s Nicola Wackett played a leading role in the celebrations to mark one year since the start of London 2012 at the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games – and she insists it will live long in the memory. The 47-year-old, of Myton Lane, paraded the 3000m steeplechasers, including Kenya’s Beijing 2008 gold medallist Brimin Kipruto, into the Olympic Stadium.

Nicola, who works as a PR and charity co-coordinator at Sainsbury’s Leamington, performed her role in front of a capacity crowd of 65,000 people.
