Candidates from all industries are encouraged to put forward nominations before entries close on September 19.

The winner will be announced at the Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards on October 10.

Awards chair Judy Groves said it was all about showcasing success stories from women who have made a difference in their field.

She hopes a greater exposure of success in the traditionally male-dominated engineering and manufacturing sectors will help inspire more young women into these roles.
