North Leamington School and Holiday Inn hold hustings events
The countdown to the General Election got underway in Leamington and Warwick as parliamentary candidates met local businesses, residents and schoolchildren to set out their agendas.
After a debate at North Leamington School, Chris White MP (Conservative), Lynnette Kelly (Labour) and Alastair MacBrayne (UKIP) took part in the ‘hustings’ event members of the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce at the Holiday Inn Leamington.
Topics debated included skills, infrastructure and business taxation.
The candidates also talked about Europe, export and access to finance and land.
