Staff, pupils and parents are celebrating after their school’s ‘rapid improvement’ was recognised by inspectors.
Northlands Primary School and Nursery has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted for the first time since 2008.
The report states: ‘the strong ambition from the senior leadership team, driven by the Headteacher (Mrs Leah Adams), has brought about rapid improvement in many areas of the school.’
Mrs Adams said: “I am delighted with our inspection result and it demonstrates how hard our pupils, staff and community have worked to improve all areas of school. Our children love school and love learning, showing growing independence and resilience.
“We now look forward to continuing to work with our community to make Northlands even better!”
