A rash of padlocks is growing on our iconic Mill (Foot)Bridge, built by Mr de Normanville.
Far be it for me to blunt Cupid’s Arrow, but the authorities must remove them forthwith with bolt-cutters. A bridge in Paris recently collapsed under the weight of them.
