Community dug deep for Sydni Centre
May I, through your letters page, express my huge thanks to the many volunteers, both young and not so young, who turned out for the Big Dig Day at the Sydni Community Centre on Saturday April 14.
With their help we managed to clear and dig a large area of ground and planted a substantial number of shrubs. Once again the local community has shown that it is prepared to put the effort in for the benefit of the Sydenham residents. May I also express special thanks to Kate, Karen, Poppy and Shannon for all their hard work on the day. - Glynis Jennings, Sydni Centre Trustee.
