Couldn’t have asked for more support

If councillors do not live in the areas that they represent, their task of representing constituents may be made more difficult (Who does councillor actually represent? - Postbag last week). However, in my experience, this does not apply to Cllr Barrott.

He has called in one planning application at my request, spoken in support of my concerns at two planning meetings in a short space of time and arranged a meeting with county council officers, which resulted in a proposal to encourage considerate parking in crowded streets being presented to the local area committee. He has kept me informed of progress at all times.

Also, I am aware that he has been actively involved in resisting a recent, significant HMO application. I could not have asked for more support. - Robin A Richmond, Leam Terrace, Leamington.
