Giving Mike a fitting send-off

I would like to thank the Courier for breaking the story of the funeral of Mike Riley, and the funeral directors who made everything possible on the day.

We as Paratroopers got first wind of this funeral from the Courier and could then help to organise things and give him the Para send-off he deserved.

Everyone has given so much help and we are now forming a steering committee to progress fundraising to help pay back all the money that was put into the funeral by his friend Steve Farley.

We want to raise £4,000 and will discuss a series of events and fundraisers to help make it happen.
