How will roads cope in the future?

Once again Warwick this morning (November 20), has become gridlocked because of an accident on the M40.

How many accidents have there been in our area of the motorway in the last few weeks with the traffic being taken off the motorway and directed through our narrow and already overcrowded streets?

When all of the planned new properties have been built in this area, all wanting to drive through or round the town to get to and from work, shops, schools etc (bearing in mind that most of these new houses may each have two cars) how are our roads expected to cope?

They are not coping particularly well on a normal day, so goodness knows what’s going to happen when the motorway is closed.
