Ill-thought out project is a disgrace to district

There is currently a sign at the beginning of Warwick’s main thoroughfare (High Street/Jury Street) declaring that the road is being enhanced. This ill-thought out project causes danger and inconvenience to pedestrians and motorists and, as a consequence of costly shoddy workmanship, has been blighting the trade of local businesses over an extended period. This badly designed and executed project is a disgrace to the county town. The county council – who are responsible for the work - should instigate an enquiry into the whole matter and look up the meaning of the word ‘enhancement’.- Philip Wallbank, Lodge Crescent, Warwick.
