More routes will benefit all

I choose to cycle or walk instead of drive, for environmental and health reasons. If more of us felt safer cycling, our towns would be less polluted, less congested and less noisy. And we’d be getting more exercise and have healthier lifestyles.

I also agree we need a safe path to Stoneleigh Park for both walkers and cyclists. I occasionally walk (it’s about an hour each way), but without a path it’s a bit of a scramble along the muddy and overgrown verge - not ideal for a regular commute.

When I first moved here I was shocked there was no direct bus route there from Leamington or Warwick. I certainly hope that both a path and a regular bus service are resolved in the development proposals planned for the showground site.
