Motorists wrecking our pavements
Motorists are responsible for the terrible state of Leamington’s pavements, Mr Barr (Postbag January 27). Pedestrians, which mean mugs like you and me, and businesses, will pay for the repairs through taxes.
Local businesses are already suffering the consequences of our parlous pavements for it is a well-known fact that shoppers prefer towns with decent pavements.
