My cat didn’t stand a chance

I live in Thorn Stile Close, Cubbington. My two-year-old tabby cat was attacked and killed by a greyhound dog in the field behind our house early on Sunday morning last week. Apparently the dog was in the field without its owner.

I am distraught that a greyhound dog was allowed out alone in the field. My cat didn’t stand a chance.

I am certain that dog lovers would never let their dog wander without supervision or control. Clearly this is a very irresponsible and selfish dog owner.

Please please ask your readers not to let their dog out unsupervised. There are other cats that use this field.
