Saddened by leader’s attack

So, Cllr Doody feels it necessary to fill three and a half columns of your paper with his vituperative character assassination of Cllr Bromley, masquerading under the banner of one both ‘sad’ and ‘bewildered’.

I am ‘sad’ that the leader of Warwick District Council should choose to conduct his business, at length, in the columns of your newspaper in the form of a self justifying lecture, accusing Cllr Bromley of supporting bullying and failing to accept his version of events.

I am ‘bewildered’ that he should confuse the process of consultation with that of merely allowing people to express their opinions. Finally, I think Cllr Doody doth protest too much. His admission that Cllr Dhillon’s treatment was ‘not usual’ but was ‘legal’ smacks very much of the argument used by MPs to justify their expenses. I rest my case.
