There are some kind people in this world
I want to express my greatest thanks to the kind lady who helped me when I was near to collapse while crossing the road near the Angel Hotel in Leamington. I’m 89 next month and not in good health. I know I shouldn’t have been out but I was so housebound and needed to go out and have some fresh air.
I thought I could get a taxi to get me back to Lillington but suddenly I realised I couldn’t take another step. This complete stranger realised my dilemma and told me to stand and wait while she got me a taxi. I can’t thank her enough. She would not leave until she saw me safely into the taxi, who was having trouble waiting because of a traffic warden. There are still some kind people in this world - Name and address supplied.
