Think of the bigger picture

I think it is wrong that people, who are happily property owners, are trying to deny other people the same right. The homes need to go somewhere and I would be happy to have a beautiful new housing estate near me. People will complain no matter where the houses are going to be built, and I think that on the outskirts of town is the right place for them as this will present less of a traffic problem than in some of the other suggested places.

I believe we need new schools round here to accommodate the extra pupils (both St Margarets/Briar Hill and Myton School are already too big) but I think the new houses would be a nice addition to this lovely area of the town.

It also greatly annoys me that people are leaflet dropping round here and whipping things up and making spurious claims based on no expert knowledge what-so-ever. My personal opinion is that people should stop being so selfish and think about the wider implications of this plan - plenty of attractive homes that will hopefully be affordable for all those young people who are striving to achieve a home of there own but just can’t afford it.
