Vicious cuts to vital services
I was saddened to read in your recent issue of the difficulties and hardships experienced by Leamington residents due to the imposition of the ‘bedroom tax’, and other vicious cuts to the social services we all rely on, imposed by our Liberal-supported Conservative government.
They are not alone. Throughout the country, groups are forming to discuss the need for a new party committed to defending the NHS and the welfare state from cuts and privatisation, to defending ordinary people from attacks by this government of millionaires, and to building a new society based on fairness and democracy.
