Was this a wise choice of taxpayers’money?

I wonder how in today’s economic climate, with cutbacks affecting everyone, can Warwick District Council warrant spending whatever it may have cost to re-arrange the parking arrangements at the Household Waste Disposal Centre in Princes Drive, Leamington. What used to work perfectly well is no longer easy to use.

The old style parking bays worked well. This new kerbside system is not only inefficient but dangerous.

I have witnessed several near misses as cars try to pull out after disposing of their loads.

Also, the ‘speed humps’ are enough to wreck anyone’s suspension even at crawling speed.

Surely the money spent on these changes could have gone to better use: eg.keeping buses on the road, repairing potholes on the roads? Does anyone else share my opinion? - J Prince, via email.
