A SCHOOL in Dunchurch has scored ‘outstanding’ in all areas during an Ofsted inspection.
Staff and children at Dunchurch Boughton Junior School are delighted with the verdict.
The recently published report praises the school for its high academic standards, the quality of its teaching and the excellent provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
It is the first outstanding report received by the school.
Headteacher Andy Wardle said: “Naturally I am delighted that the hard work of all has been recognised in this way.”
The report said the school has high standards in reading, writing and mathematics.
It said ‘teaching is outstanding, including during the before and after-school club sessions and activities in and out of class.
‘Curriculum development never ceases for staff and helps maintain the high standards and pupils’ enjoyment.
The school was most proud that Ofsted recognised the progress made by all the children because of the support received from the whole staff team.
