TV VIEWERS can expect to see an argument erupt between a Rugby hotel owner and the notorious Alex Polizzi.

The seventh series of the Hotel Inspector began earlier this month.

And over the coming episodes, an hour will be dedicated to transforming the Grosvernor Hotel in Clifton Road.

Over the last few months TV hotelier Alex has scrutinised the Grosvenor Hotel as part of Channel 5’s hit show.

The programme follows her quest to turn what she calls Britain’s ‘hotels of horrors’ into ‘relaxing retreats.’

As with many of the Hotel Inspector episodes, owner Raman Bal, known as Bal, admits that he had a ‘lively disagreement’ with the celebrity hotelier.

He said: “Unfortunately I can’t reveal what we argued about, but I think viewers will enjoy the exchange.”

However at a recent relaunch event Alex said the food at the hotel was ‘excellent’.

He added that the people of Rugby don’t know what they are missing.

Bal said the hotel is already on the up since Alex’s visit and hopes the TV show will boost business even further.

He said: “We are already starting to see a regular clientele being established, especially, in the week, by business people.”

The episode featuring the Grosvenor Hotel will be aired in May

The exact date has not yet been confirmed.
