Rugby’s annual pancake race will take place next week raising money for a good cause.
The event takes place at midday on Tuesday (March 4) with women - and men made up to resemble women - invited to take part.
It’s organised by Rugby Rokeby Lions Club.
The Shrove Tuesday celebration, which is a long running tradition in the town, will raise money for Liam Corbett - a Rugby dad who is trying to get his life and business back on track following illness and surgery.
Liam contracted an almost fatal strain of meningitis in January 2012.
The race will be held outside the Rugby Hotel in Sheep Street.
Fancy dress is encouraged and you can turn up on the day to register.
Contestants need to provide their own frying pan but pancakes will be provided to run the 100m course down Sheep Street.
