Part of Hillmorton has been cordoned off today, Monday and the air ambulance has been called in after a stabbing.
Police were called to an address on Coton Road, which runs between Featherbed lane and The Kent, after receiving reports that a man in his 60s had sustained stab wounds to his leg and groin area.
A police spokesman said: “The man is on his way to hospital via air ambulance however his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
“There is currently a cordon in place around Coton Road and the road is currently closed.
“The initial investigation is being supported by a helicopter from the National Police Air Service.
“A man is currently being conveyed to custody.”
