DUNCHURCH’S MP has been promoted by the Prime Minister in this week’s ministerial reshuffle.

Jeremy Wright has been appointed to Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice. It means that Mr Wright, who MP for Dunchurch, is on the third and lowest tier of ministers.

Mr Wright was MP for Rugby and Kenilworth from 2005 until the 2010 general election, when boundaries were redrawn and he became the member for Southam and Kenilworth.

His new role is junior to both a Minister of State and the Secretary of State for Justice, a post now occupied by Chris Grayling.
