A determined man is taking on the London Marathon to raise money for a charity that changed his life.
Paul Evans, who was born in Rugby and went to Harris School, suffered from Juvenile Dermatomyositis, a rare condition where the immune system attacks blood vessels throughout the body.
Paul received excellent care and support and made a full recovery by the time he was 16.
Paul has raised more than £6,240 for Myositis UK so far.
He said: “I would love to be able to show others that are suffering with Dermatomyositis that there is hope of making a full recovery and leading an active life.”
