A SPRING clean of the Pavilions estate will take place this month.

The Pavilions Residents Association is calling for the residents and other volunteers to join in and help Spring Clean the Estate of litter on Monday, April 9 at 10am - meeting at the junction of Stowe Drive, Stourhead Road and Farnborough Road.

The spring clean forms part of the wider campaign by the association to encourage residents to take pride in the Pavilions.

Pride in the Pavilions is focused on improving the area through simple initiatives such as encouraging people to keep their front gardens tidy, put their bins away, pick up the litter outside their front doors and keep communal areas clean and tidy.

To assist in the spring clean, Rugby Borough Council has lent the association hi vis vests, litter picking sticks and gloves.

Even if you can only spare half an hour to just clean up the area in front of your homes, you will be making a big difference.

Chris Cade, chairman of the residents association said: “We want to encourage as many volunteers as possible to come and take part in our spring clean. We hope our clean up will show others that we have pride in our estate and by working together we can take responsibility for our surroundings and make dropping litter a thing of the past.”
